I enjoy being creative. After I’ve been doing medicine stuff all day, it’s great to find something fun and creative to shoot. It’s as though it helps my soul breathe again and not feel so stuffed into the box of being in a white coat and serious all day.
Speaking of which, one interviewer I had mentioned that in reading over my application he got a sense of Patch Adams. Now in real life I hear that Patch Adams is not quite the charismatic, warm person in the movie Patch Adams – the real Patch Adams has some very unique ideas and marches to the beat of a drummer no one else hears, if you catch my drift. But it was kind of a funny comment since for a while I had in my self description in the blog about wanting not to be so serious and more Patch Adams.
So recently I had some left over wine and decided to play with it

So are like the real Patch or like the Hollywood Patch? (I’m asking cuz I don’t know the real version.)
Personally I think the world could use more not so serious doctors…they know their stuff, just don’t take it all that seriously. I even know a Veternarian who takes life too seriously…I would think that of anyone in the medical field a Vet wouldn’t be so stuffy.

I like the first one, is it half drawn half wine?

The first pic is AWESOME:) the last one kind of looks like blood. Which is also cool from an artistic perspective. But also very freaky. And also, now that I think about it, very appropriate culturally considering all the Twilight/Vampire fans out there :) At any rate, I didn’t know that Patch Adams was kind of crazy in real life but I would take it as a compliment too. I avoid that movie all the time because every time I watch it, I inevitably cry! Having a great bedside manner/seeing people as people and not as whatever their chart says, is a very very good quality indeed!

I love the creativity of wine as art! I am envious of how perfect you can the lighting in every one of your shots!
