Happy Thoughts

Soft yellow of a sunflower (by Pictures from Heather)I hate to be vague, but sometimes there are things that just aren’t yours to share or are something that isn’t for the whole internet. I’m really lucky to have people in my life that are wonderful and make me feel special. It doesn’t always seem fair when it rains on these people’s lives because what they bring to mine is beyond compare. To continue the metaphor in the cheesiest of ways, the rain is needed for the flowers – but there are things I would wish that no one had to experience. So if you’re so inclined, spend a special moment for those in our lives, past and present who have brought us a flower to plant when it’s been raining in our lives because today I’m bringing a happy sunflower to someone in my life.

I think I know who you are talking about today. I spoke to this person last night. Will talk to her again ASAP and I’ll drop you a note when I do.

You put it in such wonderful words, whomever you are bringing your sunflower to I wish them only good thoughts.

You are a special person and so thoughtful, too. I hope your friend sees better days ahead…and know that even if there aren’t better days ahead, your presence means so much. Take care of yourself:-)
