Quick Weekend

Mini Iris with Droplet (by Pictures from Heather)
Weekend went by really fast – they always seem to and then it’s back to the grind. Weekend was good though, got started on looking for a new place to live, clinic, saw my grandfather who is doing much better, and spending time with people I adore. :) I’m on my last week of the lung – it’s been a long time on it! Just the way things worked out I did two rotations of it. How was your weekend? Did the spring weather come your way?

Dance Weekend

Champange in the red light (by Pictures from Heather)
This weekend was the med school prom :) It was the last one sadly, but it was a super duper wonderful time. Pictures are here. The food was kind of awful but there were plenty of drinks and dancing ;) Before, we got together for some champagne and strawberries/peaches (and other appetizers) and took pictures, kind of like real prom! Minus having parents there of course! The next day we had crepes – the recipe for the batter is here. Nutella and strawberries with homemade whipped cream – nothing gets better than that!! All in all, the weekend was nothing short of tons of fun. :)

Sleeping rusty child

Sleeping rusty child (by Pictures from Heather)
I can’t believe monday is here already, weekend went by fast. Did a lot of relaxing and de-stressing and now feel much more like a normal person instead of all crazy and no time. :) Enjoying the new Sigur Ros album, I have no idea what the words are but I have fun making up what they’re saying in my head.

I got three little tomato plants. Most likely I’ll forget to water them, but maybe I’ll get a tomato or two out of them…

Weekend Recap

Tags: daily life, photography, weekend

Phew, it has been a busy time for me. I’m usually busy because that is my preferred state of being, but I didn’t expect to be spending so many hours at the hospital so stuff just got thrown to the wayside. I normally do design stuff nearly every night, and because I was simply too busy things got very backed up and I spent most of the weekend working to catch myself up. Now that I know how busy I will be, I can plan so it will be a much smoother week ahead!

Other than working hard on my design work, I spent the rest of time with friends and that sort of thing. ;) I do love my buddies, they make me laugh a lot. One of my friends for a while was going through some things, but now they are so much better and it makes me feel so relieved because this person means the world to me.
Leaves in the light

It’s been crazy hot here, but that didn’t stop me and my one friend from picking strawberries. We both we completely soaked in sweat, but we had fun absolutely frying in our sweat in the sun ;)
Lots of Handpicked Strawberries

Some condensation on iced coffee
Drippy Drink

Overall, it was a good weekend and as always over too soon!

The weekend was good, it was wonderful to know that and the end of the weekend is real rotations not lectures, although I would like a little bit of a break! ;) I went to a sculpture garden type place today and took lots of pics, here are some of the many:
